Your Tasks and Responsibilitites

Would you like to gain practical experience in project work alongside your studies and gain insights into the world of e-mobility and modern charging infrastructure? Are you eager to take responsibility, actively contribute and support an international project team?

Then Daimler Buses Solutions (DBS) and our Turnkey Solutions Europe team could be the perfect fit for you.

We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) who will support our team in European projects related to the implementation of holistic e-infrastructure solutions. The position is based in Mannheim with a hybrid work setup.

Depending on your focus and ongoing project needs, you may be involved in the following activities:

Active support of the Turnkey Solutions Europe team in day-to-day project work.
Participation in the preparation and structuring of calculation sheets.
Support in preparing customer meetings and contributing to presentations and related materials.
Documentation of project progress and maintenance of project-related records.
Conducting research and analyses on technical or organisational topics.
Assistance in project coordination.
Support in obtaining and comparing offers from external partners or service providers.

Your profile

You are enrolled in a master’s degree programme, for example in business administration, economics, engineering or a comparable field.
Ideally, you have gained initial practical experience in project management.
You work in a structured and reliable manner and bring a high level of initiative.
You enjoy working in a team and collaborating with different departments and European markets.
You have strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
You have very good English skills, both written and spoken. German skills are an advantage.

We advise and support bus companies throughout Europe in the development of infrastructure solutions for electromobility. The portfolio of services includes initial consulting for customers, conceptual design and planning for their depots, and planning and installation of charging infrastructure, including the associated electrical installation and connection work, as well as structural and civil engineering services. Charging management systems for efficient and targeted planning of charging cycles, preconditioning of buses and balancing of energy requirements are also a central part of the service portfolio. Wir suchen ab sofort einen Werkstudenten (m/w/d), der unser Team bei europäischen Projekten zur Umsetzung ganzheitlicher E-Infrastruktur unterstützt. Die Stelle ist in Mannheim angesiedelt und kann im Hybridmodell ausgeübt werden.

Je nach Schwerpunkt und Projektlage kannst Du bei folgenden Tätigkeiten mitwirken:

Aktive Unterstützung des Teams Turnkey Solutions Europe im täglichen Projektgeschäft.
Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung und Aufbereitung von Kalkulationssheets.
Unterstützung bei der Vorbereitung von Kundenterminen sowie Mitwirkung an Präsentationen und Unterlagen.
Dokumentation von Projektfortschritten und sorgfältige Pflege projektbezogener Unterlagen.
Durchführung von Recherchen und Analysen zu technischen und organisatorischen Fragestellungen.
Unterstützung in der Projektkoordination.
Unterstützung beim Einholen und Vergleichen von Angeboten externer Partner oder Dienstleister.

Dein Profil

Du bist im Masterstudium immatrikuliert, zum Beispiel in Betriebswirtschaft, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Ingenieurwesen oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang.
Du hast idealerweise erste praktische Erfahrung im Projektmanagement.
Du arbeitest strukturiert, zuverlässig und bringst eine hohe Eigeninitiative mit.
Du hast Freude an Teamarbeit, Kommunikation und der Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Fachbereichen und europäischen Ländern.
Du verfügst über gute Kenntnisse in MS Office, insbesondere Excel und PowerPoint.
Du hast sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift. Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
